Decades of research show that ABA is effective in creating behavior change. At Milestones, we use effective strategies that have been empirically validated to make significant and meaningful changes in each child’s life. Each student has an individualized curriculum that is tailored to meet his or her specific needs.
Milestones specializes in teaching children who may be behind in their language, behavior, or social skills. We use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to make learning fun while helping students reach new heights. Our line technicians are trained to work with children who display a variety of delays and challenging behaviors.

Why Milestones?
Melissa Raymond, founder and clinical director of Milestones Behavioral Services, has always had a passion for helping others. She was introduced to the field of ABA in 2004 and opened Milestones Behavioral Services in 2012. Melissa earned her Master of Arts in Behavior Analysis in 2009 from the University of Houston Clear Lake. Melissa became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2009 and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in 2014. Melissa is also a founder of Autism Scholar Inc. which is a non-profit organization with a mission to facilitate scholarly opportunities for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. She is also an active member in the Louisiana Behavior Analysis Association and Louisiana Coalition for Access to Autism Services. Melissa’s passion and commitment is passed down to her exceptional staff of BCBAs and Registered Line Technicians. Melissa’s mission is to help children reach their developmental milestones and to provide a fun and happy learning environment of all of those who are a part of the Milestones family.
